Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Appcmo (“Appcmo”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit appcmo.com (the “Site”), what we use it for, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

This policy covers the Site only. The Appcmo application at app.appcmo.com, including the waitlist, is a separate service and collects additional information; where it does, it is described at the point of collection.

Information we collect

Information collected automatically by our hosting provider. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser type, requested pages and similar technical data to deliver the Site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We do not use this to identify you.

Information collected by analytics tools — only if you consent. We use two third-party analytics tools. Neither loads, and no analytics cookies or identifiers are set, until you accept the analytics category in the cookie banner.

Tool Provider What it is used for What it may collect
Amplitude Amplitude, Inc. Understanding how visitors find and use the Site, which pages and blog posts are read, and which content performs well. This data also feeds Appcmo’s own content and SEO planning. Pages viewed, referrer, device, browser and approximate location, and a pseudonymous identifier stored in your browser.
Google Analytics 4 Google LLC Standard website analytics: traffic volume, traffic sources, popular pages and visitor trends. Pages viewed, referrer, device, browser and approximate location, and a pseudonymous identifier stored in cookies (such as _ga).

We do not use these tools to collect your name or email address, and we do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Your consent choice. We store your cookie preference in your browser so we can remember it.

Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

How we use information

Cookies and your choices

When you first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Declining analytics does not affect your use of the Site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers described above (Cloudflare, Amplitude and Google), who process it on our behalf or under their own terms, and where required by law. Their own privacy policies apply to their handling of data: Amplitude, Google, Cloudflare.

International transfers

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards offered by the providers.

Retention

Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months, according to the retention settings we configure in each tool. Your consent preference is stored in your browser until you clear it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
